Detailed Itinerary

Experience Sydney’s coffee culture

Your Savour Sydney tour begins with a food-loving host whisking you away in a luxury vehicle to the trendy, inner-city suburb of South Eveleigh. Here, old railway sheds in Sydney’s former industrial heartlands have been transformed into a dynamic playground for foodies. We begin our tastings as most Sydneysiders begin their day – with a caffeine hit! Learn how rich immigrant heritage and local innovation have made Sydney a hotspot for coffee lovers. And sample a cup or two in an experiential coffee roastery and café described as ‘a love letter to coffee’.

Visit Australia’s home of seafood

The largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere, Sydney Fish Market is a must-visit destination for foodies. Tucked beneath the Anzac Bridge on the harbourside at Blackwattle Bay, this authentic working fish market is an icon of the city. You’ll be in fishy heaven weaving past stalls of vibrant fresh fish counters and sampling some of the freshest seafood you’ve ever tasted – oysters, sushi, sashimi and more. Stop to purchase fresh seafood or enjoy a quick bite at a restaurant while soaking up the ambiance.

Meaty delights

Next course is one for the meat lovers. Start by sampling some of Australia’s famous ribeye steak, described by many as the best in the world. Then it’s off to the cool and quirky inner-city suburb of Newtown, renowned for its bohemian spirit, vintage shopping, and hip foodie scene. Freshly baked artisan pies are on the menu here, sweet or savoury. We recommend sampling a homemade meat pie wrapped in golden pastry and accompanied by a craft beer, but other options are available if you prefer.

Time for afternoon tea

As the afternoon progresses, it must be time for tea! Where better to stop than the flagship café and bakery of a burgeoning pastry empire to sample Sydney’s most sought-after cake. Light, fresh, fragrant and Insta-famous, the signature strawberry watermelon cake is the most requested – and most photographed – cake in town. With a base of almond dacquoise, rose-scented cream and watermelon, crowned with strawberries, pistachios and dried rose petals, it tastes every bit as amazing as it looks and is every sweet tooth’s fantasy.

There’s always room for gelato!

Recently named amongst the top 10 coolest suburbs in the world, Marrickville has been transformed from an industrial swathe of land into a dream destination for foodies. With Greek and Vietnamese influences, a host of craft breweries and a vibrant music and arts scene, this is the home and HQ of Sydney’s most famous gelato chain. Choose from 40 signature and special flavours, treat yourself to a take-home dessert or shake, and watch the chefs at work in the production zone, making gelato, gelato cakes, chocolate bars and more.

Toast your trip with a local gin

Our tour ends at Blackwattle Bay, a scenic, harbourside neighbourhood in Sydney’s inner west and the site of Australia’s first ‘legal’ distillery. Final stop is an artisan gin distillery, producing a range of craft gin and vodka created to celebrate the ‘Spirit of the Inner West’. Discover their story, watch the magic happen, and toast your trip with a well-deserved gin and tonic. If gin isn’t your thing, we can replace this element of the tour with a trip to one of Sydney’s craft breweries or take you to a swanky wine bar for a glass or two of premium local wine, before returning you to your accommodation.

My wife and I did a private blue mountains tour,Greg was our guide. He was amazing from start to finish. The tour itself was incredible but doing it with Greg behind the wheel made it even better. Very knowledgeable about the history of the land and he had a way to make you so engaged with everything he was saying. The vehicle was perfect and so was the day.

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing, customized private tour to the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park followed by a Helicopter flight back to Sydney and amazing Ariel views of the Blue Mountains, Sydney Harbour, coasts and beaches.
